Philosophy

The act of painting is an exciting journey into the unknown. The pure physicality of acrylic or oil on board or canvas is a very tactile and visceral experience that is always new and exciting.
Sometimes incorporating fabric or paper, maybe scratching out an area - but always allowing the image to emerge with some mystery.
The observer is invited to be an active participant in the unraveling of the meaning behind the image - this meaning is always subjective.
