Beverley Barber is a Canadian painter and sculptor living and working in St. Catharine’s, Ontario.
”I was in my 50s when I found my true calling, to be an artist. I was fortunate enough to find a mentor, the late Gordon Perrier, who stressed the importance of chasing the essence and life energy of all things in the natural and imagined world.
Art has brought me joy and passion and has become the most comfortable way for me to communicate non-verbally.
This passion is a lifelong journey of responding to my inner thoughts and feelings at any given moment in time.
When I see how much people resonate with my work and how they feel emotionally when they own one of my paintings, I feel very blessed to have found what I am meant to be doing in this lifetime.”
Beverley spends her time working on commissioned pieces as well as free form painting for upcoming shows.
